Come back to the 370Z or wait...
Hey all,
I owned a black 2009 370Z until about last year when I sold it and bought a BRZ which I somewhat regret due to lack of power. I am trying to determine if I should take the hit and go back to a 2014 Z or wait it out til the next generation which I assume is 2-3 years away. I am very torn right now :shakes head: |
go turbo or go 370z, there is no between. since i didn't hear mention of a turbo in your post, go 370z....DO ET!!
|
If you wait for The Next Best Thing, you'll never have any fun (or not as much). Get whatever car makes you happy now. If TNBT turns out to be that much better, switch again.
Assuming that the next generation Z is that much better than the current gen, you still ought to wait a year or two for them to work out the bugs. So, if you wait, you're looking at driving a car you don't like all that much for 3-5 years. Life is too short. |

0% financing is not bad at all either |
Add a supercharger to BRZ .....problem solved.
|
go back to the Z. when the new one comes out you might want to wait a few years anyway as previously posted. then you can get that one :driving:
|
I'd say the Z... Brz is kinda mainstream... I know you miss the V6 Growl! .. i would...
|
Just wondering... what made you go away from it in the first place ?
|
I'm with SouthArk on this one. The 2014 is flawless [so far] and I also would assume another 2 years easily before the new Z gen comes out.
Go with 14 Z |
If you turbo or supercharge your BRZ you'll have a car that's still more common, less powerful, and not nearly as nice as a Z.:twocents:

Every considered....
Hyundai Genesis Coupe?

FRS/BRZ's unfortunately were over hyped. They do have good mod potential though. Like others have said, sink some money into it and wait to see what the changes are to the Z,s.
|
Yea I was originally going to wait for the FRS to come out back in 2011. But after comparing side x side, the 370z proved to be a better option for me. Since then I haven't looked back!
And I do agree about the "over-hyped" comment, though they are still nice cars and great for your money. |
A co worker claims 400+ whp from his FI FRS. He did clutch, suspension, and brake mods as well. That will easily crank up the cost of your FRS to the cost of a new 370Z. Then again, it is not his daily driver either. Can't imagine the life span of a drive train designed for 200hp with 400hp. Either way. If you like the mod game, you can get more hp. If just want to drive, get that 370Z...
and then get the mod bug with it. |
