do you have a mallet? try your combination wrench (box end) and hammer it with your mallet ccw. wear safety glasses.
that's wat i use to do before getting my impact drivers. WD40 helps too. soak it real good. |

Nissan has a passion for over torquing and stripping a lot of their exhaust bolts. I would at least get the car off the ground a little, let some PB blaster eat away at some of the rust for a few hours and then try your hardest not to break the studs.

I had to cut most of mine off with a dremel and cutting wheel - it was a PITA. The bolts connecting the catalytic converter came right off, but the further back the tougher they got. Even up on jack stands not much room for a breaker bar, soaked them, torched them, no go.
Good luck

It's a muffler delete. I just picked up some tools. One of the bolts looks a bit stripped. Can I just file each side flat again and take it off?

This might be dumb but are you turning the right way. You know, left = loose.
I say because it happened to me back in the day when I had Spec V Sentra and I was messing up the bolts trying to loosen when I was actually tightening.

Every bolt is stripped. I tried grinding one off and now I have a mess. These aren't coming off now unless I can find a way to drill the bolts out and just replace them.
