Z really is a head turner

Usual stories... Kids in EVO's and GTI's always looking to race, a few "nice car" comments at the gas pump, etc.

So Saturday the wife and I are returning from PA on a cigarette run, pull off the interstate for a smoke (we won't smoke in the car) and park in a dirt parking area on a backroad.

As we're standing outside the car getting a fix a teenage girl come over the hump and around the bend, sees the Z and immediately becomes transfixed by it.

Long story short, she runs off the road and into a power pole. Wham!

Pole snaps and transformer and wires come down in the road, snaps pole across the road and that transformer comes down.

Road closed, sparks spitting everywhere, brush fire starts, girl gets out OK.

Dad's car and she missed getting fried by a few feet.

I call 911 and they dispatch Fire and Police.

Wife and I are like, "Holy Crap!"
