People are on you for trading in a 13Z for a Genesis as being dumb because of the car...

...I think it's just a dumb financial move, and nothing more :-p

Thanks! :tiphat:Couldnt agree more. It was stupid financially, but Im a grown man with a big boy job and house. If I want a new car, Ill get a new car. Besides, i like it. its a nice change. For now.

I haven't been on the forums in a very long time but I have been following all the updates. Does anyone know why they would reveal the Nismo version before revealing the standard 2015?

The nismo version everyone is speculating on is still a z34. It's not the next generation z35, could be that there aren't alot of changes coming for the 2015 standard trims which I'm now presuming to still be z34s.

Or Nissan could be doing what they did with the 2009 350z roadster having it overlap with the newer standard trim 370z models that came out that year.


But I could be wrong ! Hopefully we get some answers today

2013 Z got a fresh face, NISMO didnt get much. This will probably be the last refresh before the Z35 debuts in '16 with an entirely new platform.

I think the Nismo Brand is becoming more involved with the Nissan cars. Why not spice it up a bit more vs the competition?

Oh man I, got really excited thinking they were going to unveil the new platform. We will just have to wait and see how special this Nismo is.

I'm leaning towards this having:

the same sort of nismo package/body scheme as the nismo sentra,juke and GTR
a 7 speed automatic option
Upgraded interior
New wheels
No change in performance

I hope they keep the 6 speed as an option. You never know !
