I have a hard time believing that someone can lift their right foot off the accelerator, move it over to the brake pedal, and then press the brake, faster than someone can lift-right-foot-press-left-foot. Not really reaction time but the time involved getting one foot from point A to point B. But I could be wrong. I would be very interested to see any data one way or the other. Not that I'm going to change my habits after all these years, but I'd like to know.
