Thanks to all on these boards who helped come to a decision. I have been researching and I finally dropped the hammer yesterday.

I ordered a 2010 touring+sport 6MT for invoice+$500. It should be here in 8-10 weeks. Thanks again, I can't wait!

Tell the dealer you want the car at invoice + $0. That's not a hard deal to get (I got that deal 3 months ago here in SoCal, and it should be even easier to get now).

hes getting a 2010 model, so he probably could get invoice, but i think itll be tough...

now getting a 2009 under invoice should be relatively easy now, since dealers need to clear inventory

Yeah, the only reason I didn't get the 2009 was that there weren't any in my region with touring, sport 6mt. There was just one in Colorado, but I didn't have the choice on color. So, as long as they were willing to deal on the new 2010s I decided to order one. Plus, I have the luxury of waiting a couple of months.

unfortunately no. I am basing it off of the 2009s. I can't imagine it being more than a couple to a few hundred dollars more.

But no, I didn't get a price. It was just negotiated at invoice+$500.

porthole, I got the same deal on my 2010 order here in Maine. Would have given me my choice of three 09's on the lot for $200 over invoice but none of them had the Sport Package or PW color. My dealer did not have the 2010 prices yet either but expects a $200-300 increase. Looks like we'll be waiting together, just about when the snow starts to fall! Good luck.
