Firebase, Congrats on the new car! Nothing wrong with driving a GT style car, it's just that when you mature, you'll be back in the Z! :icon17:

You've been here long enough to expect the backlash when you sell a Z, regardless of what it gets replaced with. :rofl2:

You're a good sport, and I admire your willingness to support your position no matter what. I'll give you one area where the Genesis beats hell out of the Z and the G, and that's the stock exhaust. I put a Nismo exhaust on her car, and it could still stand to be more aggresive. After I do something about my car, I might put Tanabe axle backs on hers. Enjoy your car dude:tup:

Add some Berk HFC's and watch what happens to the NISMO exhaust...

(it wakes right up with no drone or rasp)

If it was my car I might do that, she wasn't exactly overjoyed when I put the Nismo exhaust on her Z. LOL I actually bought the exhaust for my G37, but decided I didn't want to deal with making it fit so I put it on her Z.

While I have no issue with the GC, before I bought my Z I had never really looked into getting one. That may be because the 370 just looks so much more sexy then the GC, but I think it also has more to do with my having pretty good luck with Nissan cars, while my previous experiences with Hyundai have been somewhat lackluster. The thought that Hyundai has managed to step up their game with their vehicles is good to know though.

As for interiors, I have noticed that both of the korean automakers are trying to snag some more of the market share by sprucing up their interiors. The new Kia Optima has a neat looking interior, but I can tell you from driving one that they are not nearly as powerful as Kia would like you to believe.

Personally, I wasn't concerned about the interior when I got my Z. The performance was what I was looking for. But I can understand why you would prefer a nicer one. So enjoy the comfy interior Old Man :rofl2:;). Maybe we will see you in the ranks again when the next Z comes out.

Best of luck to you.

Funny because i actually traded my '13 genesis track (ultimate) for the '13 nismo. The genesis just had too many issues here and there with the new ecus they use and the transmission (had my tranny replaced twice). I was probably one of the reasons they took so long to release the 2014 because of all my complaints :). The new carbon syncrhos was because the manuals always ended up grinding over time and the rev match auto had to be reworked because they were slipping gears so much due to bad programming. Everything else about the car i loved though, especially the interior.

Yikes, you had all sorts of issues. I hope I dont!! I got the '14, with the 8 speed. Its like butter. Not as fast as my Z but still very quick. Plus, Im loving the much more relaxed ride and digging the interior. has all the bells and whistles, plus those tan leather seats. So sweet.
