Why would I lengthen it? If it was any longer it'd be hanging down and potentially get caught on something I drive over, or rub on the road. |

I might try to tighten my exhaust... It couldn't hurt.

Update. It is an exhaust leak caused by warped flange by my Berk HFCs. I installed thicker gasket material (hand cut) but I think I'm going to have to remove the cats and have them machined flat so that the gaskets can seat/seal

Here is what the old gaskets looked like when I pulled them out.
http://www.the370z.com/members/surfd...fc-gasket.html here is the zspeed gasket installed with some high temp gasket sealant. Nissan 370Z Forum - SurfDog's Album: Surfdog 09 370z sport - Picture its a tight fit under there using jack stands, but if I can do it anybody can (you need an impact gun to get the heat cycled exhaust bolts loose. Fortunately, I did not have to cut any of them. They get corroded REALLY fast with all that heat.) Nissan 370Z Forum - SurfDog's Album: Surfdog 09 370z sport - Picture no more codes!

Interesting. When I had HFCs + exhaust leaks, due to no gaskets, I was throwing P0420 and P0430.
With the LTHs I just threw a P2098 though, grrr! I need to get this thing tuned. Also, love the HF floor jack! I was concerned when purchasing mine a few years ago, but I have had no issues with it while doing work on several vehicles.
