$563.95 for a 15k mile service?? (Quote attached)

Look at those freakin' prices! I could see that estimate pasted to a Yahoo news article titled: "How to avoid car service ripoffs"

Find yourself a new dealership. They don't have your best interests in mind. If they are trying to stick it to you on non existent issues wait until you have a major issue.

I would also ask them for a price on blinker fluid change before you tell them to suck it!

Looking at my 09's maintenance schedule, it never recommended a brake fluid change. Did something change over the years?

I highly doubt anything changed. They are probably trying to add crap up.

I say, it's worth paying if you don't have hands or feet. If you do, use your feet to walk away and have your hands change the rest.

just read your service manual its all in there. wiper blades are not 35 ******* dollars a piece. battery caps are bull **** along with everything else they qouted you. you dont do the brake fluid and engine filters until 30k.

when you hit 30k Just buy your air filters from the internet, open the hood and slide them in and take your car somewhere to get the brake fluid changed if you're not comfortable doing that by yourself. i believe the cabin filter is behind the glove compartment.

Everyone is going sideways on this. It is expensive but if you go to another dealership, they will likely be close and the difference may not be significant. If you take out the inspection and go strictly with replacements, you will save and feel you saved some $. But there is value to having your car inspected and that takes time if done right. I like it when a tech takes you under the car and explains what they see (dealerships never do this but shops do if you request it). It slows them down quit a bit because it is extra unproductive time. Also, if they see something that needs work, don't be upset and be ready to spend if the work needs to be done. Most people defer the cost of a potential issue, it is human nature to stretch it.

why would they be close? They're charging him for stuff he does not need what so ever. a 15k service should be less than 100 bucks. you follow the manual that nissan gives you. they know what the 370z needs and when.

TO THE OP
go to another dealer
tell them you would like you're oil changed and your cabin filter replaced since you just hit 15k miles. also tell them you would like for them to inspect the areas that the service manual calls for. Bring your service manual with you if you have too. DO NOT LET THEM PUSH YOU AROUND. your Z should need nothing else at 15k good luck sir
