CarbonSignal Terrible Customer Service....Buyer Beware

Just wanted to take time out of my day to make sure other potential buyers stay clear of this company. I'm so frustraited, I have been waiting over a month, (closer to two) for a response on a simple price quote. We have had dialogue throughout this extremely long waiting period, so its not like they forgot about my request. I have had to initiate every conversation, as I assume they are not capable of a follow up on their own. If they can't even complete a simple task of a price quote, I have no faith they are even remotely cabable of producing quality pieces on time. CarbonSignal refuses to take any responsibility on the issue, always placing the blame on their "provider". I'm very dissapointed in this company and their lack of responsibility and initiative. Buyer Beware!

We get so many requests and make sure it's been answered, as most of emails and FB requests are done by shop guy. Majority of times it's the shipping quote which is required as all prices are there on our website. Could you please let us know what was requested. I would like to know before commenting

Thanks

Attached is our dialog.

Its disapointing that I have been waiting this extreme length of time for what should be a routine answer, only to find out that I have been forgotten due to your "high volume of requests". How do you think that makes the customer feel to hear that their question just wasn't important enough. I'm sure you will have another excuse, or try to throw someone under the bus (shine auto, shop guy) instead of just taking responsibility for dropping the ball and providing poor customer service. I look forward to your timely remedy on this issue.

It looks like they got to you right away?

edit: And you are asking for a new piece 100 dollars cheaper than what they quoted you?.. I would take my time with that request as well.

Donald@Carbonsignal 04-06-2014 08:52 AM

Sir ,I got back to you quickly and with the price info I have. I can't just drop the price because you asked me too.

Flushed221 04-06-2014 08:53 AM

@Malm

Yeah, they did get back right away....to say that they don't have an update on a price yet.....after I had to ask them a again for an update. What isn't shown on this screen shot is the 2 month duration between responses. Imagine waiting a month to hear from Carbonsignal, only to have to contact them again to get a response of "haven't heard anything back yet". Really after a month you still can't nail down a price for me. A month later im still waiting.

Not really sure what that dialog proves other than you apologizing to them for taking so long to respond to them.

Flushed221 04-06-2014 08:56 AM

@Don> I'm not asking you to drop the price...im only asking if you CAN drop the price. It was a simple yes or no. You explained that you had to ask ShineAuto and that you would get back to me....You never did. Are you still confused?

Flushed221 04-06-2014 08:59 AM

Its about 5% of the total...not that big of a request.

I haven't heard anything about dropping the price, as I've said already.

Yep. How much would you hurry to get a price quote to someone trying to lowball you?

His response most likely is a nice way of saying you are not getting a price drop. He said the same thing apparently a month or so ago and you just didn't understand. i wouldnt expect to get another response.
