Default Pain in the a$$!

Well like the title states, my 370z has literally gave me a pain in my buttocks area, more so my hip. I've never driven a standard car before and at first I attributed the pain in my left hip to not being used to a clutch. Well 4 months down the road, I figured my body would be used to it by now, but the pain is still there. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so, how they corrected it!?

Try adjusting the lumbar support.
Take your wallet out of your pocket when driving.

Well I've never driven with my wallet in my back pocket, so I know for sure that's not the problem. I'm gonna have to consider the sitting in the middle of the seat, cause I do tend to sit more to the right side. I notice that my hip only bothers me when I rotate my leg, I can walk/run without feeling any pain. I think it has to do with how my long legs have to sort of wrap around the steering wheel, putting my leg in an awkward angle and then pushing through with it for the clutch is just not something my hip is used to, maybe like stated above, I need to watch how far I extend my leg. Thanks for the input guys! And as far as the elderly cushion goes, I didn't think any part of my body would need "elderly" assistance for another 50 years haha

It took me several weeks of trial and error to get my seat adjusted properly. And the wallet removal is a good idea too.

The seats in the Z are far different from my previous daily driver... a 2008 Versa.

my only gripe is the seat. No pain but cant have my wallet in pocket. I understand the seat's purpose but I'm not a fan.

Wallet out is #1 thing I did to make it more comfortable. I have moved onto a money clip that can hold a card or two. Makes for easy front pocket carrying and it gets rid of the BS I don't need to be carrying in the first place.

I used to put my wallet in back pocket. Then I found a girlfriend and she usually carries a purse.

I may need to just keep trying different seat positions! I do notice that because I have long legs, I have to put my knees at an angle so they're on the side of the steering wheel and when I push through for the clutch my leg goes through a weird rotating extension. I think that's where I'm getting the pain. I can walk/run without any pain, but as soon as I rotate my leg it hurts. I think a telescoping steering wheel would help, so my knees wouldn't sit in the way of the steering wheel. I'll keep on stretching and adjusting my seat and hopefully I won't have to give up on the 370! Thanks for all the input!!

Default Seat pain

Once again (last time) the Sacro-ease seat is just magical. You can bend the frame for the best fit. Best thing I ever bought for the Z.

Money clip is so much cheaper in the end game though.

I gave up on the wallet years ago. I had a money clip with a Mexican 50 peso gold coin all set in 14K gold. This was cool until I lost it for a few months, it fell between something.

When I found it with a couple hundred dollars in it and realized that the gold alone was worth nearly $2K, I sold it, and now just fold and stuff the money in my front pocket along with an expired drivers liscense.

So I agree that in the end a money clip is cheaper, just do not follow my foot steps.
