This is a simple problem to fix, boost that thing and you wont have an airbox to steal peoples drinks with!

i've seen wierd stuff in the airbox but this is a first

Could you hear this? Could you feel it lose power? What were the symptoms. I am glad it was so simple in the end.

To be honest it felt a little sluggish couldn't tell if The power was just getting old or what?! And that's cuz I just put in the stillen LW pulley! Also I took down a back road and hit 125 kinda slower than usual however I blamed it on my windows being down and the possibility my passenger (gf) was gaining some weight o.O anywho I decided to clean out the filters for once and noticed the cup and face palmed myself -.-

There is your problem, it's easier to ask for forgiveness that permission. If I ask my wife for permission she is mad twice, once when I ask and again when I don't listen! I also recommend paying all the bills and never tell her no when she wants something!

It was a CRV at work, Im one of those a hole dealer guys, but Im here to tell you this S*&t is real, stuff gets sucked into air boxes all the time, naturally the customer wanted this covered under warranty, now ask me why I drink...

I bought a left over '07 Honda VFR in '08. After breaking engine in. Put it on a dyno to see how much power it made before I started with the mods. :D The numbers were LOW. Couldn't figure out why. The bike seems like it ran nice. No flat spots in the power band. I decided to look around. Found a mice nest on top of the air filter. Found 3 dead mice in there too. :shakes head:

Anyone notice the whole airbox is different?

At least you found it! Some people would go 50k before finding it. I flagged a guy over in NV in AUG last year. His whole radiator intake opening on his car was covered by a big plastic bag, it was only 107 degrees that day.

Is everyone else's airbox like this that the filter slides in? You don't have to separate the airbox halves?

I've owned 2 boxes and neither was like this

Looks like belly button lint.
