I'm mulling a Camaro right now, but the interior is killing me. It looks horrible. Not sure why car designers try to get cute with these stupid retro themes, like the square speedo dials and cheap interior materials.

On the other hand, check out these pics.........
Does nothing for me.

In fact, I think it's actually pretty fugly...in the same way the 2010 Mustang's rear end is fugly - except it's the whole car.

That would look so much better in Red!

The only VW I would buy is The Volkswagen Type 181 "Kurierwagen”. (Aka “The THING”)

American car companies are well known for their superior interior design and quality. It's shown here in the 2009 Camaro.

Hey, watch it on the VW hate. My first car was a 90 VW Corrado G60 supercharged beast...hella fun in the twisties, and in its day was aimed directly against Porsches...sounds kinda like the 370Z and the Caymann. I'm still a little bit partial to VW...even cross-shopped the GTI for a short time

I agree with you on the interior…………….it’s the only part of the car that totally sucks!

Totally agree!

The camaro concept came out in 2006. That was actually when the car needed to be released. The retro thing was the craze... everyone wanted a stang, challenger or 300.
All retro cars. The gto failed due to actually being ahead of its time.
Now the camaro is doomed to failure due to being behind the times.
As mustang is trying to figure out to re-evolve the mustang.
Chrysler is going to kill the retro cars. And hhr pt cruiser all being canceled soon.
No1 wants a retro car.
What really drives people toward the camaro is blind patriotism more than anything cutting edge. Its a beautiful car on the outside. But the true enthusiast could care less over camaro.
mustang just has a high following as well but I believe motivation is patriotism as well more than a true to life performance preference.
Not knocking these cars in a general sense.
