Several Questions Regarding the Z
As some may have already know, I am seriously considering buying a 370Z after I'm done with college.
I just need to know some additional information before I go and buy. As of right now, I want the base version of the 370Z but with the sports package. However, I do not care for the navigation package because I already have a GPS and would probably use the navi package just for it. 1.) Anyway, what I want to know is will the base version + sports package include a port for my garmin GPS? Or will I need to include the navigation package which then will include this very port? 2.) What is that little thing that protrudes just right on top of the roof of the Z? Is that an antenna? Are all vehicles supposed to have this or is it only exclusively for those who want the navi package? Will my base + sports package include this little antenna? If you don't understand what I'm talking about. 3.) Similarly to the question above, I have noticed some Zs have rear window wipers. Is this optional or standard? If it is optional/standard, is it for the base or touring or? 4.) Is it possible to request the dealership to install the fog lights? |

1) Yes, there's a plug in the center console.
2) Antenna 3) US/Canadian spec do not get rear wiper 4) Yes, it's possible to request the dealership to install the fogs.

Awesome. I like the quick response!
A few more if you don't mind. 1.) Sorry if I'm repeating myself with this question but that means my package of the Z will include the antenna, regardless correct? Just trying to make sure. 2.) How much are the fog lights? I'm definitely going to get the splash guards ($220) and MAYBE the kick plates which makes the Z glow and added protection? - So, the cost of the fog lights? They do install it and make it function, right? Because I have heard of some news that they only give you the wires and you had to find your own bulbs? :/ - What is the difference between the kick plates and without? (A picture will suffice, however, I have tried to find some but to no avail). What does the without look like and do they offer the same protection? 2. a. Fog light is priced from $80-100 (depending on vendor). Outside USA (where foglights are offered) it's integrated next to the steering wheel. If you would like to have such setup, it'll cost you arm and a leg. Most of the member who did the "foglight" mod, simply connected to a switch which they can turn on or off (some even integrated to the brake lights). b. Please get the illuminated kick plate. It's a horrible black plastic on base model if you do not get the option (picture below). That's the ONLY thing I kinda regret not getting. I am planning on either doing the touring kick plate swap (steeel Z logo) or illuminated DIY install in future.
