Funny how the comments quickly became a Mustang/Camero vs Z, but boy if they visit this forum, we don't give a damn, we love both cars.

Youtube is hilarious.

Anyways, I have first hand experience on this topic... the 168 mph estimate is very close.

the way the US is about cars I'm surprised its not mandated in a law somewhere that all cars be electronically limited to 100mph...

They will accomplish that goal by forcing us all to drive the Prius.

lol, whats also funny is reading through the comments you also find a Z on Z hater. you know, one of those die hard 07-08 HR 350Z guys that swears up and down the 350Z is better in all ways to the 370. i agree with everyone else here, i don't care what it is...as long as you are happy with what you drive then who gives a crap what others think.

The car is drag limited. It doesn't have enough power to push past 165-168mph.

The Z on Z hate always gets me... doesn't make any sense.

Especially because it's a no brainer that the 370 is vastly improved in just about every category. ;)

If memory serves me right, I hit 160 in 5th gear or early 6th gear. That's in an auto, so I still have 6th and 7th to go. Videos with minister removed shows car topping out at 173 STOCK

173 is probably possible with a tailwind. With calm wind and a flat surface you aren't getting over 170. There just isn't enough power to overcome the drag.

Not to mention it will take forever to get to that speed.

hmm interesting my auto is capable of such speeds? never knew. :icon17:
