Nah... I didn't make up my mind yet. Sounds like the best thing is to wait, however, all I'm saying is if they offer me invoice and/or an extended warranty. I may still consider the 2009. If not, I'll just walk out. Your opinions are helping me decide. It's helpful to know a lot of you were getting thousands knocked off when the car had just come out. This will make it a lot easier for me to walk out of the dealer if the price is not right.

I have my heart set on the 370z but I also took a look at the 2010 Mustang GT. Since I use the car year-round and live in NJ, the Mustang is a bit more attactive than the 370z because it's a lot easier to get a set of rims/snow tires for the car. (like I have been doing for the last 3 years with my 350z) For some reason (size of brakes perhaps) it appears that I may have quite a bit of trouble finding snow tires that will work with the 370z... that is unless I buy 19 inch Blizzaks and mount them on the stock rims. (not a great option) I was hoping 17s would work on the car but it looks like I'm SOL on that plan.

Just remember that with a car with so few options, the perfect one is always right around the corner. No need to rush mate.

Well I spent some time at 2 Nissan dealerships today and it looks like the best they are willing to do on a 2009 370z Touring is about $800 over invoice. No other incentives whatsoever. Horribe trade-in offer on my 2006 350z. I checked the KBB on it and trade-in was 15k. The first dealer offered me $11,800 and would not budge. The only way he would offer more is if I took MSRP on the new car. The 2nd dealer offered maybe a thousand more, if that. Is this what I can expect for my 350z in this economy? Quite an eye-opener, for sure!

On the flipside, I also stopped to take a look at a 2010 Mustang GT Premium... fully loaded with everything. (nav, glass roof, accessory packages, voice command, etc.) It's a 40k car and Ford is offering to give it to me for zero down plus my trade-in, for $589 a month. (includes tax) Seems like a great deal, but I was hoping to get a similar deal on the 370z. Anyways, that's where I'm at... guess I need to decide what I really want.
