:icon17: Knock off a few thousand, for a car that has no planned changes. You've got to be kidding. AND ..... don't give me heated mirrors as a major change |

I have my heart set on the 370z but I also took a look at the 2010 Mustang GT. Since I use the car year-round and live in NJ, the Mustang is a bit more attactive than the 370z because it's a lot easier to get a set of rims/snow tires for the car. (like I have been doing for the last 3 years with my 350z) For some reason (size of brakes perhaps) it appears that I may have quite a bit of trouble finding snow tires that will work with the 370z... that is unless I buy 19 inch Blizzaks and mount them on the stock rims. (not a great option) I was hoping 17s would work on the car but it looks like I'm SOL on that plan. |

Well I spent some time at 2 Nissan dealerships today and it looks like the best they are willing to do on a 2009 370z Touring is about $800 over invoice. No other incentives whatsoever. Horribe trade-in offer on my 2006 350z. I checked the KBB on it and trade-in was 15k. The first dealer offered me $11,800 and would not budge. The only way he would offer more is if I took MSRP on the new car. The 2nd dealer offered maybe a thousand more, if that. Is this what I can expect for my 350z in this economy? Quite an eye-opener, for sure!
On the flipside, I also stopped to take a look at a 2010 Mustang GT Premium... fully loaded with everything. (nav, glass roof, accessory packages, voice command, etc.) It's a 40k car and Ford is offering to give it to me for zero down plus my trade-in, for $589 a month. (includes tax) Seems like a great deal, but I was hoping to get a similar deal on the 370z. Anyways, that's where I'm at... guess I need to decide what I really want. :icon14: |
The new mustang fully loaded can be nice, but did you take the mustang out for a drive? No amount of added features can change how the car drives/handles if it is not what you want/need in a car.

Sometimes through special circumstances u can get 2,000 or even 4000 off. But that's either through employee discounts, dealer offers or govt funding. Just keep your eyes and ears open. BUT definately go 2010. |
Any idea when 2010s will hit the lots?
(new member, nav tips welcome) |
Z's..Mustangs..snow tires??A bit confused don't you think?
Maybe a Hummer next? |
Well, as much as I would have liked to wait until the 2010s were out... I couldn't get the car out of my head and ended up picking one up. Went with the 370z Touring 7AT w/Sports and Nav. Got it for around $1,000 over invoice. A little higher than I would have liked but I pushed them hard to give me more on my trade-in, so they of course had to make some of it up. Anyways, here are some pics!

the 2010's base features didnt have anything that i would be interested in so got the 2009...at a great deal.
but if you're looking at the touring with all the bells and whistles, i'd definitely wait. that HD for the headunit + USB sounds nice. |

new but subtle features for 2010
there was a site on another thread about the 2010 coupe.
yes theres heated mirrors thats a plus. yes theres cooling seats as well as heated thats a plus. but the reason why ive been debating myself whether to trade my 09 pw /persimmon for a fully loaded 10 is ... bluetooth MUSIC!! WOOT no more stupid wires... plus a new interior color that beats persimmon with pearl white.. something called 40 red. imagine that!! that would be so sexy. would remind me of my championship white type R with red recaro seats... sigh... i should have waited. |
