That review was targeted for 15 year old boys. No self respecting gearhead would give any credit to that.
I feel dumber for watching it. Let me know if I need to clarify my opinion. If the actual reviewer is on here.....you have found your niche and I salute you for maximizing it and making a living from it.

With that said, interesting review. The guy was annoying but give him a break, he was just trying to have fun. This guy was no where as close being as bad as Dane Cook. I did wonder why the Convert appealed to him more than the Nismo. Just personal preference I guess. Last edited by BanningZ; 09-06-2009 at 09:08 PM. |

Interesting review. I have actually been on those roads they were driving on - they are really fun drives. At least the review gives you an impression of what the roads in northern California are like, not the endless desert cliff highways as portrayed on the short lived new "Knight Rider" on NBC and countless other tv shows/movies that would have you believe otherwise. I literally burst out laughing when they tried to portray the Stanford Campus on that show since it was so inaccurate.
Regarding the reviewer, that's his schitic, he gave a good review with lots of gesticulation. I'd say it was mostly non-technical, but does convey the message that the Nismo suspension is stiffer than the 370Z. And it did solve the mystery of what the center blank button in the coupe is for (the convertable roof up/down). However, I do think it would be funny to see him talk with his hands tied behind his back. His extreme hand movements remind me of one of the site coordinators I worked with at UCSF. He was from Pittsburgh (like me), but also couldn't talk without moving his hands, as they were an integral part of communication. |
