Race Ramps 67" 2 piece
Gentlemen,
Has anyone tried a set of the 2 piece 67" Race Ramps? I was considering a set with the roll up's as well. I have the T/S package and was concerned about clearance. I called them, but even they do not know, they advised to use the method listed on their website to check for clearance issues. I did and it looks real close. I prefer the use of ramps over jacks, and I do not mind the price tag as I plan on keeping the Z for a while. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated. |
I think they will work
I would think they would work. If anything, a couple of 2X8's to ease the car up on the ramps would work. However, with the two piece long ramps I think you would be fine. I would imagine there are folks on the site who have them. If not, I know there are many on the corvette forum who use them and really like them. You might scrape the air dam in front but not by much. If you do not get any responses here, do check the other forums as they show pictures of members' cars going up and on the ramps and state what their clearances are. If a vette with 4.5" of clearance will make it then so will the Z.

Thank you for the suggestions.

I have the 56" Race Ramps and my Touring/Sport clears without hitting the air deflectors. The 56" and 67" have the same approach angle.

I bought a set of ramps from Griot's Garage - those do NOT work without catching the chin spoiler.
Just a FYI. |
Thanks for the feed back. Planning on purchasing the 67's two piece.

Noticed a post below yours named "ouch, dent on my fender" by Danny 3.7 and noticed that on one picture, while installing a clear bra, the car was on race ramps. I know you decided to get the race ramps but just thought I would mention that someone used them on the 370 and obviously they work.
