There is alot of clutch noise in the Z. I've read about a lot of people having it and when I picked up my car today I can confirm that it's there. I find specifically between shifts from 1st to 2nd but then it seems to stop. No big deal to me

unless you're talking about something completely different.. why dont you describe it alittle?

In first gear its really loud esp if its under load and you disengage the clutch. I tend to make it a habit now where I press the clutch in when its not under a load by slightly accelerating, etc.

I hear it in neutral, but I need to be in the garage (silence). I took it to the dealer, no problems, all of them have it - normal for the car.

the one big thing I hate about driving the Z is the clutch clunk, rattle, I need a louder exhaust note to cover it up

I just assumed it was the flywheel chatter! I've upgraded to lightened flywheels on some past vehicles and they chattered in neutral also!

Thanks a lot guys for the info. I was hoping it wasn't normal. But hey I guess playing the music louder might help...
