Default Will 2010 370Z Have Bugs From '09 Fixed?

I'm just wondering if the new 2010 370Z, which is basically a carryover with new colors coming and going, will have some of the bugs fixed from '09. Such bugs like the loud noise at high speeds, which is being called an ECU problem. Or the minor issues with brakes/rotors warping prematurely, seats bubbling, etc...?

I sure hope so. Because I'm going to order a 2010 Monterey Blue 370Z Base with Sport Package and I hope, like most second year models after a new model comes out, has all the bugs fixed!

All we really know is heated mirrors, different aux/ipod jack and some other minor stuff. And a in cabin filter we may or may not already have.

Cool

I recall a few mass complaints coming out the forum.
And with the way people went crazy over warranty oil coolers
And things related. I don't think nissan wants the headache... lol
Besides I think for the most part, nissan takes pride in there premium models.
They have been consistent in making improvements on altima, maxima, murano and titan.
The Z, though it has not been nissans cash jackpot this year.
Its there heritage car n I'm sure they will take those bugs seriously and fix it.
Will they try not to warranty 09'ers? I hope they do but usually car companies do these fixes silently and deal with 1st year buyers on a case by case basis rather than doing recalls on mass cars over minor defects.

what bugs are we referring to? the only thing I can think of is the hatch, but that's not really a bug. My buddy at the Nissan dealership is replacing the springs for me under warranty...

There are always a few changes from MY to MY which fly under the radar. No one will find out until the cars are delivered, though. The only changes announced from Nissan were mentioned above.

Its funny how one (or a few) person has an issue with something and it becomes a "bug". Rotors warping? I ran my car HARD at the track and we cooked our dinner from the radiant heat from the rotors and they are just fine. Loud noise at high speed - oh yea from my exhaust. Its a sports car for crying out loud. Some have had whining issues (take that as you will) at idle, etc but it seems to be a very very small number. The only issues I've had is a flaw in the cap on the steering wheel - Nissan just called and said the whole air bag assembly was in - I guess the cap is part of the whole air bag so they are going to replace it because of a very minor molding flaw that I didn't notice the first month I had the car. The other issue was the rear hatch opening - some people have it were you need to push the button twice to get the hatch to pop. Fix it with a few pennies or I had Nissan order in the longer springs as a warranty fix.

The main thing to note here is that there are NO TSBs for this car yet. To me that's saying a lot for a first year car! I think computer design, etc helps work a LOT of the bugs out before the car is even mocked up.

The only advantage you are going to see is the heated side mirrors...

And many of us would disagree with you. Nissan is selling a street car, not a track car. If you wanna track your car, get an oil cooler. Simple as that.

And if I was going to track my Z, I'd also put in a stiffer suspension (ala the Nismo), upgraded brakes, and a diff cooler. but I guess you'd say that Nissan should "pull their heads out of their butts" and make those "standard" on the car too, right?

If the car can last through stop and go traffic in a phoenix summer without an issue, it doesnt have an issue.

Good point - how is yours holding up? I was in Phoenix last week and ambient temp (according to my rental car) was 120 (but it was probably about 115-118)!

Holding up very well. No issues at all, no limp mode. We get up in the heat here!
