nissan knows,noise issue

found a thread about high pitch noise a few owners are experencing but its closed, hope im not stepping on any toes here, but i have a slight buzz, took it to my dealer ,had service mgr ride and confirm metalliac buzz noise, they couldnt find it so called nissan hq they are aware of it ,think its a ecu.they will notify me when fix comes, mine isnt very loud "radio can mask it" but its there and i want it fixed:shakes head:

the other guy got shut down, if more ppl complain about it... the chances are higher for Nissan to do something....

but dont blame the dealership for this

like my rotors have premature warp, the dealer will fix it but they need confirmation to do so.

not dealerships fault,my dealership is fine, just want it fixed,no huge hurry.svc manager and mechanic agree with me,its really a small problem i hope..

i was just sayin.... Nissan HQ has the final word in things like this

like when my leather seats started to bubble up, HQ decided to fix it

Owners with the problem shouldn't accept covering up the buzz by turning up the radio because one day you may want to sell your z. And I would like the problem fixed for future z owners.

so go and complain... if only a few owners complain, that's not enough for a TSB

Yes, Nissan corporate is aware of the issue. Currently there is no fix for it but they are working on it.

Mine just started the high-ptich this morning. And it is coming from the area of the ECU.
