Whistling through driver door, advice?

When my z gets on the highway, there is some air leak because I hear loud whistling and air sounds from driver side door. What could it be and who handles the fixing? Dealer or body shop or some mechanic?

Was the car in an accident? Maybe the window mechanics is going bad...

I had the same problem on the passenger side. Local body shop was able to adjust. Took 'em 3 tries but they got it right.

It would be the rubber seal on the door lost it softness and won't seal anymore. It happened with my old G35.

your dealer can fix that. i would check the door and window seals to see if there's any leak. also check your side mirror and mount area.

Is it your B-pillar by any chance?

Mine whistles at 120 MPH but it's the b-pillar

All I can tell you is that they adjusted the mechanism inside the door. What they did inside the door, I don't know. If you want to try to DIY, check out the FSM (see link in my sig).

You can find car window seal conditioner at most auto parts stores (usually in the same section as wax, soap, &c), but these are temporary fixes. You should be able to get a good idea of the seal condition just by pressing on it with a finger. Compare to seals on a new car.

its on my passenger window at the top, but everythin looks fine. I'll give the products a try and do some troubleshooting. Thanks guys!
