Is 58k too many miles?

If you're purchasing you better do so soon the prices are only going to increase from this point forward. My car's KBB value drastically increased this past month.

In the winter RWD sports cars are priced lower. The longer he waits into the spring/summer the higher the prices will be because demand will increase.

I looked into getting another car in December my trade in value was 27K, now it's 31K.

So if he wants to get a Z he better purchase one sooner or else his buying power will diminish, you can't low ball a dealer when they think they can sell the car quickly to someone else for more money. It's easier to get a desperate dealer to sell a RWD car in the winter however.

Maybe if you had taken the time to explain yourself in your first post, people wouldn't have been confused? Duh?

Dude... I agree there is definitely an effect to the car's value according to season but you're overstating it like the poster above me said. It's not that crazy. I have a couple friends who work at Carmax and give quotes on cars all day long and they agree.

Are you sure it's not just the fact that it's harder to sell a rwd sports car in the winter?

thanks for the advice guys. I'm ready to buy whenever, I just can't seem to find any Pearl white 370z's with sport/touring and black leather 6MT. I don't really care for Navi I'd rather put in my own aftermarket head unit.

I think you're overstating the summer effect. Isn't the op in Arizona? There is no summer effect in Arizona! And I agree that price is a bit too high for a 5 yr old z, but it's not too far off actually. If you look at edmunds it shows retail value of about 22 grand for that setup. Good luck!

Would not touch it, but as far as mileage goes 58K miles is not too many miles for a 5 yr old car. Actually its a tad under the average per year which is 12 to 15k at 11,600 etc etc.
