Everything is relative, I think the answer to this question depends on if you are buying new or used as well. I was in the market for my Z and I looked at many different deals both sport and non sport.
I ended up purchasing a base model, The reason being is the price. I bought my 09 base model with 40k miles, 20inch black wheels and stillen intakes for 17,800. As far as the sport models were concerned I didnt find any for under 21-22k. This means I saved about $4,200. In the month that I have had the car I have installed a number of mods including a ksport coilover system, and an exhaust that I got killer deals on which ive spent $1200 on thus far. I purchased a new vlsd for $300 which I will need to spend some more money on parts to install but overall I am very happy with my purchase and wouldnt choose a sport for 4K more. Btw I love rev match downshifting myself as I have done in my past 2 350z as well in my G35S 6MT To me the base was the way to go |
