Thanks for all the info. I drove nothing but MBZ (all pretty old models) for my past 15, 20 years. I did have a 87 300zx and 911 turbo for very short period of time. It is about time to get some changes before I get too old. Maybe I am too old for this already! I still own 5 mbz at home, my DD is a 94 E420, V8. Very solid car. 560 sec, sel, 500sl and E350 are the others.
Just in the planning stage. really get exciting after seeing some tasteful mod cars here by you guys. Thinking about either red or blue. after market front, rear spoiler and skirt. Exhaust system, intake. that is about it for me, I believe. So sport model should be good? + spacer to push out the rims futher. |

Just for the SRM and brakes alone the sport pkg is worth it. I had no plans to mod, but I did and it made selling the things I didn't need any longer easier.
|
:iagree: Sport packages is a better starter for mods vs the base model.

another reason the sport package is worth it, for the akebono's. |
bbk? sorry, new here.
As far as the body kit, you buy the whole set or Ok to get them separately? Cost wise, help me here: 1. sports with AT 36000+/- 2. Front lip, skirt, rear spoiler ?? 3. Exhaust system ??? 4. Intake?? 5. wheels n tires ( as suggested by TerribleONE) ?? but will stick with 19" with proper offset, see some nice members rims here again! Thanks again. |
Mod costs all depend on your budget. For the above, that will run you $6,000 for average quality and over $10,000$ for high quality . Wheels/tires/exhaust are your big purchases. Body kits is where the price will change the better quality you go with or CF.

what components do you plan to mod? if you are going to change the wheels and brake, then you might not want the sports package. but if you are going to mod CBE, intake, spoiler stuffs like that, then take the sports-package. |

I have a couple of comments.
-> Buy Manual. You buy a sports car to feel the road and learn to drive on it. Going AUTO seems like "Your planning to have Grandma drive the car to Church." -> Buying the Sport, Touring packages come with a lot of basic extras that you can (if you want) remove and upgrade. But the fact is that they are there, you only have one chance to do this in most cases. If you go BASE, you can not add Navi, Sync Trans, Nissan Brakes, etc and may not even justify the value add. I got the Sport, Touring, Navi, and believe me... The 370z kicks ***. I just replaced the exhaust with a Fast Intention and I could not be any happier. I'm spending my upfront money on items that will make me happy and increase the value. https://scontent-a-dfw.xx.fbcdn.net/...80153083_o.jpg |
