s30 Styling, on a z34...
 

I'm in the process of pulling everything together to have this done by mid April. The biggest feature of the z34 I fell in love with was the quarter panel windows resembling the s30. I want to pay homage to a legend. Let me know what you guys think!

:iagree: I've always like the mirrors being farther down the hood, but you're going to be hard pressed to make it look good with the lines of our cars..

I don't think it's fitting for the 370. The other elements that bring it together material wise just aren't there.

I have no idea what you are trying to do design wise.
Only thing I can come up with is its a retro Brit car look.
Had a old Jag with Talbot mirrors on the fenders,wire wheels...
This kinda stuff just does not go with a contemporary design.

This is what happens when prices drop enough for ricers to afford them. Let's slam it to the ground, add wheels that don't fit so you have to get a retarded alignment and now, in case the wheels and lowering didn't let everyone around you know you're a tool, let's start riveting on badly fitting fender flares. And some fender mirrors because ricecar.

these type of people need to just stick to there $2k 240's and do whatever they want.

The S30 was a classic design -- I have had, and still have several. Keep in mind that in the 50's, 60's and 70's the Japanese were not great inventors, but excellent copiers and innovators. The S30 is a design that closely resembles the Ferrari 365 (Daytona) and borrows heavily from the Jaguar E-Type of the day.

What you have here may seem like an homage to the design of the S30, specifically the limited run of the "R' type 240Z; however, in my opinion, some things should be left alone. The 370Z is a beautiful design in its own right. Why mess with it?

By the way, I have a little rule I try to follow and I offer it here for your use, int he spirit of helping and forum camaraderie.
