while im driving i suddenly felt the car have no more power therefore i park to the side of the road and it stalled. i try to restart the car it wont start anymore but the fuel indicator showing me i still have 5~6 dot and up to 100+ miles left of gas, i was thinking maybe the gas indicator have problem so i walked to the gas station and bought 1 gallon of gas put it in to the car it start smoothly.

It sounds like the shop is talking about the fuel pump. As others have stated the fuel level sensors will not keep the car from starting or running.

Assuming it's a fuel delivery problem, then it's probably a known problem with 370Zs - with the tank level at ~1/4 or less, on a hard right turn the fuel moves away from the pump inlet causing starvation. No need to replace the pump, just keep the level above 1/4.

If you were driving "normally" when it happened, you may have a bad fuel pump.

He claimed in the other thread that he wasn't making a hard right, but who the hell knows. And replacing an OE fuel pump shouldn't cost that much. Hell, a Walbro costs what, $100? Have it installed by a local shop and you're back on the road. Again, we need a clearer description of which part went out, but I'm not holding my breath.
