Nope, love it!

b15 02-28-2014 08:36 AM

They only burden is always wanting to mod it and getting the stink eye from the wife.

6MT 02-28-2014 08:41 AM

The only "burden" my Z was for me, was that it took up valuable space in my garage in the winter. My wife's car was in there and my daily driver had to live outside.

NO. In no way do I see my DD 370Z as a burden.

If anything the car is a deal, as most every other car I'd buy is more money.

The only problem I have with my Z is that I don't get to take it everywhere I want because there's more than two of us going there. :)

For example: high monthly payments, insurance, can't afford gas, two seaters, can't afford repairs, cabin space, excessive noise, unwanted attention, complaints from significant other etc etc.

I don't have any problems with my car, but I can imagine the Z can be a burden for some. Especially if he/she uses it as a DD.

nope.

i mentioned this before somewhere, but just because the Z is an economical sports car does not mean it was intended for the poor. :ugh:

why not, gets way better gas mileage that both of those cars you list as DD

C63= 13 city/19 highway 15 combined

M5= 14 city/20 highway 16 combined

Compare Side-by-Side

Because they will be a more civilized dd. IDC as much about mileage as i do ride quality, comfort, and features. also, to have a dd capable of roll racing gtr's would be fun :tup:

Tadpole 02-28-2014 11:57 AM

No burdens at all for me and its my DD too. Road noise irritated me some but a new Alpine deck, amp, and speakers ended that.
My kids are grown and gone and my wife and I take a trip now and then which is great.
I love my Z with the good and not so good that comes with it. It's a sports car, an inexpensive sport car at that, and a drop dead head turning machine.
Burden????? Hell no.

I do wish I had bigger windows. Break my neck just using a drive up ATM or going through a drive-thru.
Also, tend to bang my head every once in a while getting in and sometimes hard to get out when you're on an incline. But still an excellent daily driver and comfortable.

My Z took up garage space last year but this year I decided to cover it outside with an $80 Walmart cover. It worked just fine and will last a couple years prob. 3 months outside was long enough so I moved it back into the garage 2 weeks ago during a short warm spell. She smiles at me for it everyday now.

genesis2012 02-28-2014 12:02 PM

Not gonna lie. I was hesitant to buy the Z because of the trunk space since I golf a lot.

Surprisingly, I could fit at least 3 golf bags into the trunk space without an issue :happydance:

My car is paid off, so the cost of owning the car isn't an issue. Sometimes I wish it could be eco-friendly as my previous car (Prius), but I already expected the major difference in MPG aha :rofl2:
