Default I have no idea what I did ... Electronics not working after speaker install

So I put some speakers in the car today, (they sound much better than stock by the way), and now that i have everything all put back together...

1. passenger window does not work at all (driver side switch, passenger side switch, window indexing... nothing...)
2. door locks do not work by hitting the switch, but the alarm will lock and unlock the doors normally.
3. airbag light on the gauge cluster is on, and so is the airbag light to the right of the radio...

i have no idea what i left unplugged, or whatever that may have caused window, locks, and airbags to act up...

any ideas?

You need to reset the windows and airbag light.

Flashing Airbag Light After HU Install

Window goes half way (urgent help)

I would check the passenger door switch to make sure you plugged it in.

I did recheck the window switch as soon as I noticed it wouldn't work at all.

Thanks for the link on the airbag light. Hopefully I can figure out what's going on with the window/locks now.

Also, the window problem didn't start until after I pulled the center console/head unit. I had already put the doors back together and redone the indexing before I removed the center console. So it can't be the plug. It worked fine when I reset the windows.

mine does it whenever I unhook the neg cable on my battery. On the door lock switch I'd recommend to recheck just in case. There are so many harnesses on this car that its easy to forget one during the install. As far as the airbag, to avoid getting the warning light if testing your install its recommended you unclip it from the dash that way you can have it plugged in while you're debugging your system.

Sounds like the harness just isn't plugged into the door switch. Pop the switch off and check.

In situations like this the FSM can be invaluable. It will tell you which wiring harness goes to what, wire colors, &c and has all the wiring diagrams you need. Even has troubleshooting guides for many problems. See link in my sig.

That said, it sounds like the previous responders have you on the right track.

Well, the airbag light is gone. The start button sequence fixed that right up. (I even did it right the first try ) now I just gotta figure out the window/door locks.

My car has lambo doors on it, and the wiring harness from the door to the car had to be extended for that. I'm starting to wonder if one of the wires came undone there while I was running the new speaker wire from the door to inside the car...

Think I'm gonna spend Saturday redoing the connections they made there. Solder and heat shrink on them all. They used a bunch of butt connectors when the previous owner did it.

So, I just noticed that my drivers side window doesn't go all the way up either. It's always down just a little as if the door is open. It rolls up and down just fine, and the auto up even works. I tried resetting the indexing and it still won't go fully closed.
