Update on the high pitch noise

This may have been asked and answered already, but the car that you have that's making the noise...it is the same car you test drove? If so, did you notice

Never test drove this car, the dealer had to get it from up North. The car I did test drive and the cars I drove on the lot just last week did not have this noise.

Gotcha.....mine was brought down from a different dealer than the one I actually made the purchase from, too. I've never really paid attention for said noise but I have a feeling when I leave work tonight and head home I'll turn the radio and A/C off and listen carefully.

Best of luck to you with resolving the issue. I can see how frustrating it's been for you.

Yea a lot of people are hearing some noises but they seem to be different. I also hear the ticking what is above the engine but its not audibly noticeable while in the car.

Most people drive with the radio on but I don't, thats why it sticks out to me so much more than other people. I usually listen to XM news channels or talk radio and the noise is very noticeable.
