What would you have done differently?

when you got your z for the fist time what would you do differently to protect the paint or anything else about the car that would have been better?:hello:

I probably should have gotten a clear bra for the front bumper

Riptide67 02-16-2014 11:40 AM

If I would have bought it new, a clear bra(whole front end and roof).

^^^this. For sure.

I put a clear bra on the front end, but not the roof, when my Z was brand new. Almost 5 years later, the roof looks fine (no chips).

But what about the front end? Has the clear bra held up..No chips on bumper/hood??

Not parked in the parking lot of my apt complex. I had to fix one scratch my neighbor was kind enough to leave me.

30 days later the car is happily living in its own garage.

I also got the clear bra as soon as I got the car - money well spent since I didn't know the issues about the paint until after making the purchase.

I had a clear bra installed on my car soon after I brought it home. No chips on the covered area after 2.5 years!
