Uh...you weren't wearing a seatbelt.

Got one in a speed trap bout a month ago. Going 31 in a 15mph school zone. Thing is:

1. My first time down this road
2. School zone and speed sign hidden by tree branches (Can't see it till you're RIGHT there)
3. Police got me soon as I passed the sign while I was behind other vehicles going the same speed... yea

Since it was my first ticket ever he let me go with a seatbelt violation.

Get pics and post them to the city. Anyone who got a ticket should be able to beat that in court if the trees obscure the signs. Not cool at all. I saw a woman beat a ticket in court with photos of the exact same situation. Cant see the sign then you are not informed.

unless one's from that neighborhood, it is sometimes very tricky to know which speed limit to follow. and it's not like all the schools start at the same time. in addition you got these damnarse geezers driving school zone speeds on the hwyway... :ugh:

I've never gotten a speeding ticket in my Z or ZX, ever. I do have 3 of them in my Honda Accord. I guess the ride is so smooth (compared to the Z's), I overlook how fast I'm going.

Side note: I've heard from someone (undisclosed:rolleyes:) that they're "sometimes" lenient to cars that they like (Z's, S2000's, etc.), and go after some that they aren't fond of (camaros, douchey BMW/Benz, riced/mex'd up imports, etc.).
