That wording is just legalese to differentiate a criminal from, say, a friend that you invited into your home.

What good would that do for the citizens, a criminal by definition DOES NOT follow the law. Most crime committed with guns isn't done by someone who has obtained the gun in a legal way. Isn't it already against the law to kill someone, to rob someone? Well they are still doing it, go ahead and make all the laws you want the criminals will keep on breaking them. All more gun control would do is make it easier for the criminals and totally screw over anyone that obeys the law. Lets look at Chicago, some of the strictest gun control laws in the US. Yet somehow they have some of the highest murder rates and crimes committed with guns per capita. Most, if not all those crimes committed with guns were not obtained legally. So yeah go ahead and rub some more laws in their face that'll show them..
What I quoted has nothing to do with gun control or rubbing "some more laws in their face" - it has to do with laws that have been in the books for a long time on the use of force (not even necessarily the use of a gun). In CA (and in almost every other state in the USA), the law allows you to use as much force (including a weapon of any kind) to defend yourself as is reasonable given the circumstances you find yourself in. Is there something wrong with that? Or do you really think it's OK to shoot someone simply because they trespassed on your property?

I know it sounds like what I quoted favors the criminals, but it works both ways. Without some "reasonableness" restrictions in the self defense laws you could end up being shot for trespassing just for taking a short-cut through a field on your daily walk.

Dude I wasn't even talking to you nor did I read your earlier post. I was talking in general to the people that think putting more gun control laws on the books will stop criminals from breaking the law. Just pointing out that it hurts the law abiding people way more then any criminal because they don't follow the law....Get it now?

Same here. I use the Optimum no rinse car wash. Barely use any water but lots of microfiber I get cheap from Amazon. I wash it every week in my boxers in the privacy of my garage.

I formerly used Optimum No Rinse all the time until I found out the Turtle Wax makes the same thing (Turtle Wax Rinse-Free) for a fraction of the price ($6 on Amazon). I'm hoping it is under license from Optimum or something like that because (near as I can tell) it is the exact same stuff.

Even if its a cop(unless they have probable cause or warrant), a cop told me that.
I don't chime in here much anymore because of crap like this. You really are out of your mind. Ever heard of a cat named Zimmerman? Or in NY a dude named Bernard Goetz? Check it out and see what happens with idiots that are quick to shoot somebody. (I believe Goetz was justified by the way)

Civilized people don't go around shooting their idiot neighbors. You ought to learn how to spell too.

HARRP? or something like that.

Cali is lucky I have been a little lazy in washing my Z lately. I usually wash it once a week, but as of late I've been doing a little over once every two weeks :/.

Come to my house everyone, free car washes!

Oh and my shampoo is bio-degradable

Are we talking about guns or water? This thread sounds like calguns.net forums all of a sudden
