-10C or -10F?

wat do you mean by 1st try did not start. did you let the car crank the entire cycle or did you lift up on your brake or?

Ken:
-10C
First try the battery ground down but I may have let up on the start button

You don't have to hold on to the start button to start the engine. One press is all you need.

How do I get it out of the limp mode ?

Did you see what codes it's giving?

Terrace 02-05-2014 07:08 PM

I disconnected the battery for an hour but no change. The "Service Engine Soon"
light is still on and it still won't rev over 2K rpm.How do you access the code ?

Stop by an auto parts store and use their scanner.

In most it's free.

Make sure you know what they are before you just clear them, the car is doing this to protect it self!

Good news ; I talked to my Nissan dealer and was told that it's covered as I've
only had the car under 3 years. Also as they are 500 + miles away it will be
repaired here in my town.

kenchan 02-06-2014 03:59 PM

GL with the repairs. and yah, 14F is warm considering where i start my cars. :icon17:
