Things I recommend on all alarms:
Glass Break Sensor Vertical Motion Sensor (aka Jack Sensor or Towing Sensor) Shock sensors are nice enough, but usually won't be triggered by a would-be theif, especially one with a window punch. I haven't seen a proximity (microwave) sensor in a Z yet, but I know the one I had in my 240 falsed all the time. I'd stay away unless you have a convertible. Also, 2-Way alarms start fairly inexpensively, and range is up to a mile depending on the system. Nice to not only know that something has happened, but also what has happened to your car.
