No, manual for sure. Where's the S-mode button? Top right of the shifter is the rev match button. Is that what I'm looking for? I've only ever sat in an automatic touring non-sport. I can't seem to find a good photo of the cluster/dash/shifter.

I know he's said he's looking for a manual, but thought I'd correct this.

The 7AT has rev-matching on at all times. So there's no s-mode button, but manual-mode shifts are rev matched.

Well we're talking about a visual button for him to see. So technically the auto doesn't have it. Meaning the button.

That button also controls the auto-rev matching right? When I drove the C7 Z51 and did that for the first time I creamed my pants. My right ankle's been broken a few times to doing the whole heel toe thing is a pain (literally!)

That's what I thought. I was thinking to myself, the only sport button in a NA/6SP 370Z is the option to turn off traction control

Somehow I think you're going to end up leaning toward the 370.

BTW if you get a NISMO you get all the stuff that comes with the sport package, plus stiffer suspension, different exhaust, quicker steering, 18 more hp, and a functional body kit. You'll end up sacrificing leather seats and a few non-essential goodies though. Something to consider if you're not planning to mod...

I did the same and love my Z, the BRZ just doesn't have the HP.

Gee, for a guy who is 25-ish, making a six figure salary being a super car salesman, money shouldn't be much of an issue. Go to the bank, tell them what you want i.e. high six figure home, GTR and a car of the wife's choice. I'm sure they'll throw as much money at you as desire. There, your problem is solved as others have done with your kind of money.

Budgeting and savings are more important. I want to buy the GTR mostly cash. Plus, I'm moving in the next few years, so I want to have something fun and nice that I can finance to keep my credit strong before I pay it off and give it to the lady. I'm young yes but I try not to be stupid with what I earn.

At that price point, I may as well keep my Evo. I do plan on doing a few mods like an exhaust/suspension tweaks and some aesthetics. I think the value/money on a sport/base is pretty excellent. Especially used.

So my Evo was stolen.

My wife and I will be looking at a FRS, 370Z, and a Mustang GT Premium.
