2014 has just started and AAM Competition wants to make it the best year ever! Are there any certain products for the Gs and Zs that you guys would like to see made? It can be something that no one else is doing or it can be something that other people are doing and could be improved upon. It can be anything! We just want to know what you guys want.

how about an actual intake manifold/plenum rather than a modded stock plastic 350Z one like everyone else sells lol

the kinetix prototype one from way back was sexy but had zero function which was depressing. also the $1k price tag was ridiculous for no gains :shakes head:

I know it's cosmetic - but a small lip spoiler for roadsters...

wouldn't mind having a tow hook that mounts to both front and rear that goes on horizontally (flat), not the cow nose ring ebay style. :ugh:

Could probably make one out of a L-shaped aluminium piece, but that would never be strong enough for towing. Would look good, though.

Yah, it would need to screw into the front tow thread and be functional.
Not sure about the rear due to no tow point other than the transport strap down. I suppose the rear would be more for decoration..

guys, think logically, we have a million shift knobs and tow hook (smh) options. we have nothing for manis (no i'm not counting motordyne's). we need real intake mods for this car bad!

nobody wants to touch intake mani development with a 10' pole tho

Z1 did the same as motodyne with a modded 350Z intake plenum. why can't anyone take the time to design one that performs, looks good, and isnt from the previously model. i mean they pretty much take a old one and shave down the insides a bit and charge us a ton. if i knew what they did to them i'd do it myslef and save a ton of money lol with how many wrecked Z's i've seen i know i can get a plenum cheap from a junkyard :stirthepot:

Wat you gonna do with throttle bodies? Pretend you just turbofied your car?

There are no A/T knob replacements. That thing is ugly af and sticks out like a sore thumb.

Resonated Short Tails would be nice. Honestly just a reduction in price of your current, unresonated short tails would be nice too. They are currently a bit too pricey for what they are in my opinion.

I would like a single exhaust too but I'm not sure there is a large enough market for that on the 370. Maybe because of the empty spot on the rear bumper? I'm probably going to try out their 350z exhaust on the 370. Z1 put the 350z Tomei single exhaust on a 370 with minor modification so I'm hoping the AAM single will be about the same. I loved my single AAM on my 350.

I'm going to bust the bubble here. So forgive me. Once again we see a vender coming in saying "What can we do for you?". I'll put my life down that nothing will be done beyond a retarded shift knob. It's well to late. The market for the 370Z is slim and the model itself is nearly over.

Yes, a nice looking manifold would be nice but it's not going to make power beyond our already options in a NA form. So why bother? Everything else is pretty much summed up besides basic business. Being who AAM is I'm surprised you guys haven't stepped in sooner. Especially with your own TT kit. You guys were awesome in the 350 era.

But to put some positive input, yea a intake manifold and titanium single exhaust for myself.

Spohn maybe but there is always going to be the people that buy the cars 2nd , 3rd, 4th hand etc that will most likely want to mod so more parts is always a good thing and maybe can drive prices down.

But Im mani , a nicer center console / armrest cover, a digital gauge speedometer to replace clock.
