But Im mani , a nicer center console / armrest cover, a digital gauge speedometer to replace clock.

I know what your saying. But you have to come in and hit the market right. You want to be paid back quickly for your R&D not over time. Plus from what I see there's always a lot of interest until money comes into play.

But my route will most likely land me with 350Z heads to get away from the VVEL.

Does anyone make a good rear diffuser yet?

I'm probably going to try out their 350z exhaust on the 370. Z1 put the 350z Tomei single exhaust on a 370 with minor modification so I'm hoping the AAM single will be about the same. I loved my single AAM on my 350.

Heard the Tomei over the weekend actually on the 350 with an XYZ pipe and OMG it sounded amazing.

A guy in our local z group has one on his 370. It sounds pretty good as well lol. Not to mention light as a feather.

Evo-R, Varis?

SPOHN 01-29-2014 05:20 AM

Ok guys. AAM is a performance shop (a good one at that) not a body shop. There not going to make body parts.

The rear diffuser needs to be custom made IMO. Plus a rear diffuser serves absolutely no purpose unless you have a full flat bottom underneath your car.

FPenvy 01-29-2014 07:46 AM

i just want a intake manifold lol

and maybe to come back down and get a launch map added to my car since i didnt when i was there last year for my tune lol

edub370 01-29-2014 07:54 AM

a company is asking us aaaany product we want... and we are still getting "7at shift knobs". what a waste!

intake mani's ORRRRRR a ti system under $2k :tiphat:

YzGyz 01-29-2014 08:39 AM

add on splitter and side skirt to the nismo, new direct plug in/swap out for the stupid gas meter dot.. adjustable gas/break pedals, that's it for now.

1_Stealth_Z 01-29-2014 08:55 AM

Intake manifold all dayyyy! If AAM takes anything from this please make a got dang intake manifold for the love of the car gods!

Maybe I do have a full flat bottom underneath. I spent many hours installing duck taped cereal boxes underneath my car. You know, I'm just going to save my money and do-me-up a custom (cardboard)box diffuser.

Don't be jelous when It's completed...

On a serious note - I wasn't sure exactly all the stuff AAM did. I'll have to check into their 350z stuff.

bicycle carrier! :ugh:

SPOHN 01-30-2014 07:06 AM

See. They won't even respond to there own thread. Yep, on par.

G37sHKS 01-30-2014 07:37 AM

Intake Manifold, turbo kit, 7AT built, adapter to fit LSD in 7AT differential, Adapter to get RPM signal from ECU for boost controller..etc. anything compatible with G37 will sell high.

Please don't make another exhaust system or intake. I can list 20 companies with eyes closed that makes exhaust for this car. its time to move on.

its been like 24 hours. back off their nuts :shakes head:

i mean some people probably have to actually do some work there before coming back to respond to 5 guys in a forum thread talkin nonsense.

well aside from intake manifolds. pretty much the only legit idea in here so far.

edub370 01-30-2014 08:16 AM

or a bored tb + bored stock mani WITH dyno results, as mentioned before

Jerm@AAMComp 01-30-2014 03:58 PM

Hey Guys,

We haven't forgotten about you. I've been paying close attention to this thread while trying to keep up with orders.

We currently are finishing up R&D on a 3" True Dual exhaust that sounds awesome and is priced below the competitors. This will really help out the forced induction guys who are getting held up with a 2.5" exhaust, but it's not just for them.

The main reason for the 3" True Dual is because we're currently working on our twin turbo system. Our manifolds are in and they flow amazingly. These kits will be able to be perfect for stock or built motors. Here's a teaser pic for you guys.

Please keep the great ideas coming!

G37sHKS 01-30-2014 04:10 PM

Nice, another turbo kit joining the party now this is something I want to see!

Mind sharing what turbos you guys will use?

Jerm@AAMComp 01-30-2014 04:20 PM

We may or may not be using twin Borg Warner EFR 6758 turbos.

zguynate 01-30-2014 04:27 PM

Thats a nice surprise!

gomer_110 01-30-2014 05:24 PM

Same as the others, in for a properly designed intake manifold (for NA applications). All out performance is all I care about (eye candy is overrated). A CAI and bored out/bigger throttle bodies to go with it would be a plus.

Also how about a coolant to oil, oil cooler kit. Laminova cooler or similar based.

6MT-Z34 01-30-2014 06:56 PM

A manifold would be great especially for people that want to stay NA like me

rAiN 01-30-2014 08:31 PM

single turbo kit?

edub370 01-31-2014 09:07 AM

as cool as turbo kits are, we NEEEEEED some NA mods. we have nothing....

IDK if its just me or what, but ever since every car manufacturers went to more and more boosted platforms, it makes me wanna stay NA that much more. with bored tb's and/or a proper manifold upgrade, these cars should be making over 350whp NA. considering one dude already hit 342whp. i mean that was probably a little high, but u can see 320's and 330's all day long with these cars with bolt ons. We've gotta get past this plateau. 350whp NA out of a 6 cyl is beastly. that would be approx 395crank hp. BEEEAAAAST

that 342whp number i still am very skeptical on. it was a number from a company trying to sell their products. i'm sure perfect dyno conditions were attempted and many other things.

but i do agree with you on more N/A mods being nice. i'd love to do a intake manifold upgrade soon as long as it's not paying someone $300 too much for a 350Z manifold that they shaved out a bit. that is the biggest joke of an overpriced mod lol.

edub370 01-31-2014 09:44 AM

this platform has the potential of 350whp. we just dont have the aftermarket to do it right now

i agree but that 342 is still a bit ehhhhh to me lol

6MT-Z34 01-31-2014 02:37 PM

NA all the way!! I know turbos will make way more whp than just bolt on but reliability and 100% of the power all the time is more important to me.

Ghostvette 01-31-2014 03:18 PM

I'm with edub, a decent intake would be great. We clean up the air up to the intake, and improve the flow from the exhaust back, but not much improving of the air through the motor. I'm not 100% sure, but back in the day, intakes and headers were pretty much mandatory to make easy horsepower. Granted, that was before computer controlled air/fuel mixtures, fuel injection, etc; but the idea should still be the same, air flow through the motor.

Jerm@AAMComp 02-04-2014 08:18 AM

My guess as to why an intake manifold isn't done yet is simply because of space. There isn't much area from the top of the motor to the bottom of the hood. Needless to say, our engineer is looking forward to try and conquer the task!

sounds good to me

alsoi may have to come back down if you guys end up making one. maybe even be the test dummy :tiphat:

Great! And don't worry about making it look pretty. Just make it perform pretty!

Eclipz 02-04-2014 01:34 PM

no one mentioned cam shafts? The only other company I know of that makes them is JUN and there isn't any data supporting them. There is the possibility of big power with more aggressive cams but that could be difficult due to VVEL

6MT-Z34 02-09-2014 04:01 PM

Hope their engineers started working on that manifold

XwChriswX 02-11-2014 12:11 AM

Jerm, I have the AAM Intake, but was never given the insert to make it work as a stock MAF CAI, do you have any that I could get shipped to me?

Thanks! :tiphat:
