Totaled Car

Totaled car yesterday.Waiting to hear from the insurance company. Not sure if its worth it to let them total and buy car back and sell the parts.

If anyone can give me some insight and or is interested in the parts , please let me know. I wont find anything out until Friday.

You should be able to pull your aftermarket parts and put the stock ones back on. Let the insurance company know that you want to do that and make arrangements with the lot that has your car. They will usually move it to just off the lit (for insurance reasons) and let you go to work. No need to buy the car back.http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/22/aqarypan.jpg

By the way, I know this from first hand experience. I had a chance encounter ^^^mn my 4Runner with a motorist who ran a light. I got my stereo equipment (amps, amp kits, speakers) and suspension parts back. Insurance wasn't going to cover these.

State Farm, granger and progressive I've had went up to 5k automatically in aftermarket parts with my policies. Anything beyond that and you had to start paying more a month. If you can't recover your CBE for example, if it was rear ended, it should be covered.

Personally if it isn't to bad I'll take the thousand or two hit, buy it back and turn it into a track car.

Thanks for the input guys. I wish I could fix it and make it a dedicated track car. Some how I think the curb/ and then wall/ oh, and then the telephone pole won. Too much damage

Sorry about your loss, but it is just a car and it is good that you are still around to post about it.

From what it sounds like, you went for quite the ride.
Now let the dust settle, clean off your britches and get back on that Z horse.

OP: with a a few pictures of what is left, it would make it easier to guide you on a buy back or not.

Sorry for you.
