Any 6'1" guys hoping they fit in the 370Z?
Hi
I am wondering if I can actually fit in the new 370Z. Anybody else? At 6'1" and 230 lbs. it doesn't look good...better have a salad next time. Also still no sunroof or T-top or Targa roof? Come on a targa would be sweet! The new 370Z looks like a winner to me but I fear I shall need a crew to crisco me in and out of the cockpit. Can't wait to try...see you at the dealership! Regards, J |
Howdy. I'm 6.3 201 and I'm planing on getting one. I could fit really good in the 350z I dont think a t-top would work with the way the roof is shapped. it would be really nice tho.

I am 6'2" 215lbs and I fit in the 370 just fine, there is plenty of room, so you should be fine. Should be a non issue for you, or anyone under 6'4" for that matter.
im 6'4, 225lbs and i fit fine.
push the seat all the way back and recline! |
I would love to contribute to this thread but I'm only 5'7" 164 lbs :ugh: :icon17:
some guys in the G have removedand lowered the seat rails. But I am 6'1" 200lbs and gots no issues but i expect the Z to be a bit smaller.
5'11" about 220... I didn't order the salad!!
6'3" 200 and banking that i fit in the 370 the same as i fit in the g37...like a glove!
at 6'2" I just barely fit in the G37 Coupe with sunroof. The Z has about a half inch more headroom so it should be fine.
5'10" 170" perfect fit :)
Im 6'6" @ 250lbs and I fit. Shut up....yes I do:mad: That bump on my head is just from me making sure the roof was still there as I was getting out of the car. :ughdance:
<-- Is 6'2" and isn't worried about fitting.
D*mn, 5'8". Will I even be able to see over the dash?? :icon17:

I'm also 6'4", but my inseam is only 34". I do fit fine in the 350, but have not been able to sit in the 370 yet. Man I hope I fit. |
6'2'' but I like sitting close to the wheel.
I've never been a fan of the super recline straight arm gangster lean haha. So I'm hoping it won't be an issue. I fit fine in the G and 350Z so hopefully this one isn't much different. |
Good thread. I'm 5'10" & was worried whether I'd fit when I wear my 3" platform shoes.
^^^^ pic of you in said shoes lol
I am a weight lifter so I hope that my width fits, 5'9.5" according the doctor @ 223lbs. Like I said not tall but I am wide in the shoulders.
I to need to see that picture of cow in 3" platforms.:roflpuke2:

I'm 5'7" @ 150 Lbs and I don't fit in some cars! I spend a lot of time working out which has mad my back a bit wider than average guy's (even big guys) so some seats don't fit me so well... My Solstice used to fit me fine and I was VERY comfy in it, but now the seats seem too narrow. However, I'm still VERY comfortable in my 300zx, so hopefully I'll fit fine in the 370.
6'3 and a whopping 150lbs and hey I have drivin a few 350s and s2ks so I don't think it will be much of a problem.
From my research there will be no height issues in the Monteray Blue. It looks soooo good that regardless of your height you'll squeeze in..... I hear they are even giving a $5K cash back on the white, silver and black 370Zs just to get ppl to buy them....

That's fine, mine will be white! |
It's because they know that Monterey blue is the real head turner:tup:
^^^^ ya people look away in disgust
^^^ Ouch! Burn!
Black 1
White 0 |
^^^ Shouldn't that be "blue 0"?
Lets face it.. White is right. More people want white for a reason... :) And that reason is because black comes with an ugly tax. |

I've read that for a proper driving position you need to be able to rest your wrists on the top of the steering wheel comfortably. There is no way that guy can do that in the position he is in. Either he'd have to move the seat forward, cramping his legroom, or put the seat up vertically into an uncomfortable position. I went to a dealer here and sat in one and the reach to the wheel was huge. I wish there was a telescoping wheel on the car. I just couldn't get into a comfortable position. I'm used to this in FWD cars because they tend to be more upright and with less legroom. I figured being a low slung 2 seater that I'd be all set Here are my thoughts I posted on a different forum (www.carspin.net): Quote:
