Did someone piss in your Cheerios this morning?
We took your opinion and just expressed why we think it won't happen, based on how Nissan operates its business model, that is all.

Yes, yes it would. I'd happily become a "Vette Guy" for one of those.

Now that's called commitment buddy!! I kinda feel the same way about my z...just something about it that makes me wanna keep it. On another note your time spent building your race car is absolutely impressive!

Boosting the current v6 would be cheap and super-effective... That's all I'm saying. Who wouldn't want a 450+ hp Z with parts that are interchangeable with ones from the past 6 years? It wouldn't even require retooling the factory.

Just imagine if every Z35 came from the factory with a V6 (VHR or HR) with an F.I. TT kit and 3" exhaust . It's never going to happen, but that would be cool. The car will probably costover $50K.

If they make it a turbo 4 they better reduce the weight of the car substantially, not just because of the smaller engine. the current Z weighs what? 3400 lbs? The new Z better shed 600-800 lbs if they want it to perform at a higher level.

If anything, if anything, the cost should at least stay the same. This car is still tough to sell at dealerships, and worse to lease due to its """shitty""" residual value [or so the dealership claims..bs]. A possible 4 cylinder displacement would definitely be disappointing, quite the opposite of what bmw did with their m3, when they took it from the v6 e46 to the monster v8 on the e92.
