Bra and backup camera
 

I am new to this forum and a proud owner of used 2009 370z black base model. I noticed I cannot see very well backing up. Also the front fascia has many white specks from stones. Please steer me toward some good brand bras and backup cameras. Any good suggestions thanks

I doubt anyone on here will recommended any black bras, and instead steer you towards getting a clear bra. However, if you go this route, you will most likely need a new paint job on your bumper. Putting a clear bra over a front end with paint chips will look :icon14:
Sorry, Im no help with any "good brand bras", if they even exist.

As far as backup cams, you cant go wrong with the big name companies: Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine etc... I recently purchased a sub $20 camera from ebay (the kind that replaces the license plate light housing) So far it works good enough for me

Welcome, I hear ya on the backup up cam. Reversing in these cars can be nerve racking. Please no black bra. A guy in my complex has a red z with one of those ugly leather bras. I want to cry at what he did to his poor z every day when i drive past it.

^A good rule of thumb is never put a black bra on anything you don't plan to hump.

Therefore girlfriend+black bra = good (remove bra before humping).
370Z+black bra = bad (you'll ruin the look of your Z and scorch your pee-pee).

Get a respray on your front and then have a clear 3m bra installed. The black leather ones are bulky and ugly.

Purchase a nice aftermarket headunit with a back up cam and you will have no issues :)

:iagree: I had a 3M clear bra installed on my entire front clip right after I bought my Z in 2009 - and, almost 5 years later, still no rock chips!

I love my backup camera. But mine came with the navigation package. As for clear bra, I posted some shots on my page, here. I also posted prices. Hope this helps.

When I bought my NISMO I had the 3M clear bra put on the front end. I had never seen these things before but after the info the dealer gave me I wanted it. I wish I would have thought about painting it before hand.. didnt really come to mind since I was so excited I just signed the papers for my new Z. My Z is black and had a few small paint chips from the idiot that test drove it. Its only a few but if you love your car and are very picky it will drive you crazy.. even when you are not driving it. So what ghost_ix said about getting it sprayed before hand is a good idea. The 3M is definitely worth every penny if you love your car and go crazy every time you wash it and see all the new little chips. My Z came with the rear view back up cam which I love because you see it only when you put it in reverse which your already looking at anyway so I like it more then the screen in your dash. Its so hard to see out of the back of these cars especially for us shorties out there!
