Odd sound under light acceleration
 

When I am accelerating slowly I sometimes hear this rattle sound that seems to be coming from the exhaust (not 100 percent sure). This also doesn't happen all the time but sometimes. Is this the catalytic converter? If so can I just remove it? Don't want to buy a new one lol and if I do need something there I could get test pipes?

try and post a video this gonna be hard for users to pinpoint. It does sound like a cat with a loose core could be the problem

is it possible it is because my exhaust is really dirty inside? if I put my finger in it I get black soot all over my finger and it seems more than normal (cause the car is running rich)?

your exhaust is likely hitting the crossbar or is sitting too low

Lol of course I couldn't replicate it while accelerating slow on purpose. I have my 30k service soon so maybe something will be found
