Funny thing happened to my z yesterday!
The z had been a little off on the timing (im thinking its the ECU trying to adjust for the Takedas...
I was getting spark knocking and a really sluggish response... I got in, started it, backed out of the parking lot and proceeded to drive... The z was in limp mode BIG TIME! for no apparent reason that I could think of... No matter what I did, I could not get the RPM's above 2500... I shut the car off, waited a minute, then started it again, nope...same thing... so I remembered some others here having simular issues, and decided to try and make it home in limp mode  I get to a stop light, usually a super long light at that, and decided to shut er down once more...this time it was atleast 4 mins... Started the z back up and walla! z feels and responds like a bat out of hell now  So im thinking that the ECU finally learned the Takedas... |
