Sweet. Come out to next month's meet. It's kinda far in Cerritos, but hey, it's one a month.

I also came from a BMW. I was so disappointed by the car's lack of reliability. I kept asking myself where is this great German Engineering. 3 window regulators, a $500 thermostat, final stage resistor, broken springs, brakes every few thousand miles, along with many smaller items. The broken springs were the most surprising. Driving the same roads in all my previous cars and never a broken spring....both rears on the Bimmer. I loved the car, but was in the shop way too many times. Back to Japanese for me.

I think you've made a fine car choice. The M3 is a wonder while it is working. The you need to go to work to keep it on the road.
Welcome to inexpensive (compared) maintenance.

And I wonder what the OP would do if he bought a Mustang. $30 oil changes and you can buy a brand name exhaust for $700??? Lol

I love that you feel the mods are cheap for this car. Coming from a German line I understand, but this car is not cheap to mod.
Please do more research on your FI choice if you go that route. My advice is to not do breather mods unless it is going to be a few years before you can go FI. Glad you are enjoying your Z they are fantastic cars.
