Uh.... no. I don't know any tires that request 65 psi. .. I assume the max tire pressure on the advans on my nismo is like 50 psi max and the bridge stones are probably 50 to 55 psi max

The 0.07% difference in your gas mileage for pumping the tires up +13psi is not a valid reason to over inflate your tires. A real reason to not do it is that the ride goes to **** and your handling is impaired.

A general, good rule of thumb, for almost any car is to fill the tires up to 32-35psi.

Better than having them under-inflated.

Never trust dealership. Vast majority of the people that works there have no clues on what they're doing.

no doubt i fully understand you still get better mpg with higher inflated tires. Never advised to pump up 13 psi to improve mpg.

I have a digital gauge readout on the mini compressor - i set it to 35.5, it does the rest.

I double checked with your off the shelf needle dial, same results (which is nice to know they are giving me the same info).

Nissan ships the cars with 60 lbs of pressure in the tires (no flat spots if they sit on the lot, less movement on the truck when transporting, etc.) Dealers are supposed to deflate them properly, but you guys are correct, it's not always done. I personally check all Zs myself on delivery, but plenty of other cars leave here with way too much tire pressure. We have 600 cars in stock, and when its this cold out, the mechanics certainly cant bring every car into the shop, and no one is standing outside to ensure everything is done properly.

The pressure really depends when you check it and the temperature, if I fill my tires on the honda crv at 32 psi in cold weather or sitting vehicle , they will read about 44 psi when the tires are hot or air temp is around 60 - 70 + degrees
