Anyone padded the paddle shifters?
When I test drive a Maserati Spyder that was my introduction into paddle shifters. My Porsche had buttons but the paddles were net. Except that the Spyder had felt padding on the back of the paddles so they'd not be too hot or cold, and they'd be padded for comfort.
Now I know it's a major first world problem to complain that our paddles are simply plastic with no considation to the fact that we'd have to actually touch them with our bare unprotected fingers. Unless you use driving gloves of course. Felt or Moleskin is super cheap so I'll likely pad my own paddles. Cheapest mod ever. Just want to see if any one else has fel the need for this. Who's with me? |

Or just man up and squeeze them puppies till your fingerprints burn off. likeaboss.jpg
Makes it easier to rob banks without leaving fingerprints.

Seems like you can possibly find some nice 1/8" padding and cut small strips so your fingers can sit nicely against the other side of the paddles...
There was another thread where someone threw little vibration reducers/plastic pieces between the paddle and steering column so that the shifts were shorter to pull on the paddles.. kind of a cool idea
