2 sets of wheels. One set has snow tires, one set has summer tires. Easy

.
Money reasons works just fine to make it not so easy. No need to break out the violin and kleenex, let's just say feces occur.

By next season I'll have a second set to swap into, but right now I have too many obligations. Not to mention, even with the best snow tires in the world, a Z isn't going to be bucking a foot of snow.

I drive an 09 Z with snows on all year round. I find it handles the snow and ice just fine, but as with any car in winter it's all about tires.

The wife also drives it half the winter through all kinds of snow and ice with no issues.

It was Zero this morning, had extreme cold dry days and I am still driving my 2010Z with summer tires and it is doing just fine. Starts up easily, drives well. Yes, it slips and slides if you try to race out of traffic lights or make sharp high speed turns but if you are careful, its just a great car. On a day with temps around 22-25 degrees, I hit 120 with no problems on a straight interstate stretch.

There's so much stupid in your post I don't know where to start. Try not to kill anybody else with your irresponsible driving. 120 in sub-freezing temps on summer tires? Brilliant.

Just wondering how the 370z performs in our cold, winter weather???
Any who drives them through out, can you please inform the rest that never experience this kind of drive

a set of good snow tires, I mean really good one, VDC on unless you are in an empty parking lot.

I used to drive a 350z all year around, no problem except sometimes start the car at uphill.

one time I was driving on HWY during a snowstorm, manage to hit 90km/h no problem, VDC saved me from black ice couple times.

overall, it's pretty good.

I guess the biggest concern with RWD is hitting black ice.
Im not sure if the VDC would save you on that???
I hit an oil patch in the summer and I had zero traction what so ever. VDC did not help me at all..... or did I have it off

Mr.Luciano13, did you carefully read my post...??

it saved me twice

one time I was going off a ramp and saw 2 cars had collided already and all the sudden my car started to slide toward the pile... hit the brake, ABS kicked-in, no help then VDC kick-in cos I can hear different braking noise from different corners, eventually I managed to swirl the car thus avoid crashing into the pile.

2nd time I was on the HWY in a snow-storm, change to the right lane then the car started to fishtail then I realize the whole lane is black-iced. hold on to the wheel and keep my foot steady on the gas, no lift no press. VDC light came on and the Z started to straighten out itself.

2 times, from my own experience.

and because of that, I trust VDC.

***note: I am not saying VDC can save you/car from ANY situation, but at least, it works. Still, drive responsibly.

I got a set of LM 32 blizzack tires on a set of 18inch black a7sport rim square set up from tire rack(shout out to forum member KFULL for the recommendation and your response to my questions). These tires are great! I was scared as hell during the first real storm we got here in NY (6inches) but as soon as i pulled out of my parking spot these tires put my fears to rest! I was cutting through packed snow without a issue. I cant believe how well these tires perform, by far the best mod on my z!
