I used to live in Vermont. Found that I didn't much care for driving in snow, though drifting around in the high school parking lot after a snow storm was always fun. Until the cops showed up anyways
![]() ![]() Me personally, I wouldn't drive my Z in the snow unless I absolutely had to. Seen far too many vehicles suffer corrosion death for me to want to take chances with my toy. I would most likely pick up a beater and use that instead. Of course, I live in Orlando, FL now. Not exactly an issue any more. (mid 70s right now, in case anyone is wondering)

3 winters and just had service and it was clean and normal on the bottom. Washed once a week with under body wash at my local Aral station. These cars are not known to rust away. My dealer was impressed with how clean it is. I use Blizzaks and its getting driven rain, snow or shine 365.

My 2003 Camry has been an outside car the majority of it's life and the undercarriage is fairly clean as well. Regular washes are key. |

I've driven my 2011 for three winters now with X-Ice 2's Very easy car to control on ice and snow due to VLSD and six speed. Spray the under carriage once a week. No problems.
It's a car meant to be driven. Low clearance is the only draw back which includes chunks of ice/snow that falls off of other vehicles. You have to drive defensively not only for other vehicles but for obstacles in the road! You guys can look at your cars in the garage. I'm driving mine. To each his or her own. |

I have sprayed krown's rust proof and they highly discourage undercarriage wash. When it comes to roads with a lot of snow, this car cannot handle as well as any other fwd. There is no question about that. I agree with everything else you mentioned, mayday813.
